A new event in an exciting new green space!  The long-awaited Art Garden at the Museum of Art has its official  opening as the site of the inaugural Town Creek Arts Festival.  Artists, craftsmen, fabulous food, and entertainment on the Garden stage will be offered at this opening of The Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art, one of downtown Jackson's newest and most impressive additions.  The Garden is permanently enhanced with the work of some of Mississippi's most talented artists:  Fletcher Cox, Martha Ferris, Ed McGowin, John Clark, and Jennifer Torres.

The day-long event, beginning at 10AM and lasting into the evening hours, will provide hands-on art activities for kids, music by many of Mississippi's finest performers, and encounters with art in a variety of forms.  An impressive daytime schedule of music and art leads into a captivating headliner band who will entertain the crowd from our new stage throughout the night.  Booths will showcase the wares of Mississippi artists and craftsmen, as well as unique food by Downtown Jackson's best vendors.
Most importantly, the festival setting is a welcoming garden in downtown Jackson.
