Suitable for parties of six or six hundred, the Museum can easily accommodate large galas, but also provides intimate space appropriate for small events.

The Mississippi Museum of Art offers both indoor and outdoor facility rental space.

- Guests are invited to tour the Museum at their leisure, including both The Mississippi Story exhibition free of charge, and any changing exhibitions that might be on display (admission fees may apply).
- Guests have access to exclusive Museum catering by Executive Chef Louis LaRose and The Palette Café by Viking.

The Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art is a 1.2 acre park located in the heart of Downtown Jackson. This versatile, open, outdoor green space is available for multiple types of events – festivals, galas, weddings, and receptions. The Art Garden Stage and Terrace can accommodate events ranging from an elaborate staging of the full Mississippi Symphony Orchestra to a couple’s first dance. The Art Garden features seasonal foliage, native garden beds, permanent art installations, soothing fountains, and much more!

Trustmark Grand Hall, Selby and Richard McRae Lobby, and the Museum Patio - These modern, open spaces are perfect for seated dinners, buffets, receptions, and parties.  High ceilings and windows with an abundance of natural light create the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Rental prices include a private viewing of our permanent collection to create a unique cultural experience for your event. Trustmark Grand Hall provides full audio visual equipment free of charge.

Walker Garden – This intimate, outdoor space is ideal for showers, birthday celebrations, small wedding ceremonies, and small receptions. The Walker Garden features seasonal foliage, a soothing fountain, and a hardscape patio large enough to accommodate a live band and dance floor.
