Art in Mind

This free, public program, presented in partnership with the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, is an art program for persons with dementia and their caregivers developed from a growing body of research that recognizes the positive effects of art on the mind. The program lasts for approximately one-hour, and includes art viewing activities in the galleries as well as a hands-on experience in the studio. Pre-registration required. A complete registration form must be submitted by the 15th of the month in which you are seeking to attend and processed by the staff of the Alzheimer’s Association.
