| Exhibition Related Programs
A wide range of enrichment activities is offered to correspond to each of our major exhibitions. Lectures, classes, presentations, musical events and social functions of every kind are planned in conjunction with exhibitions in order to increase the visitors appreciation and understanding of the work.
We will begin our next series of exhibition-related programs with the start of the exhibition, Between God and Man: Angels in Italian Art in June of 2007. These activities will be placed on the website as the exhibition approaches. Check back for updates!
"A Closer Look" Gallery The Closer Look Galleries are interactive, educational spaces created within an exhibition where Museum visitors can pause and reflect on what they have seen. These spaces include games for children, books for further reading and activities for all ages that encourage hands-on learning right there in the gallery. It makes the Museum a participatory, active experience for adults and children alike, giving families a jumping off point for conversations about art.
