Talk begins in Selby and Richard McCrae Lobby
The paths of prominent women artists from Mississippi—in different eras and styles—will be explored. Led by Museum Curator Elizabeth Abston, this talk highlights the work of Marie Hull, Dusti Bongé, Ruth Miller, and Gwen Magee—all of whom have been innovators in their fields and are among Mississippi’s most prominent visual artists.
Gallery talks offer visitors the chance to engage with a single work, or pairing of works, for a 30-minute talk led by Museum curators and educators, as well as local artists and scholars.
