One Thursday a month, the Museum is the place to see and be seen. This month, enjoy cool jazz by Adibe Owens-Sabir, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres in a smoke-free environment amid the backdrop of world-class art. Admission: $5 MMA members, $7 non-members. Complimentary hors d’ oeuvres, cash bar.

Join us for our fourth year of Unburied Treasures, our monthly series exploring visual arts, music, and literature. This month, Pat Brown discusses the artwork of Ethel Wright Mohammed, Dan Hise discusses the literature of Walker Percy, and Shelley Ritter talks about the tradition of the Mississippi Delta Blues featuring a performance by James “Super Chikan” Johnson. Join us for our fourth year of Unburied Treasures, our monthly series exploring visual arts, music, and literature. This month, William Dunlap discusses the artwork of Mary Katherine Loyacono McCravey, Nicolas Ciraldo performs traditional Latino and South American music, and a scholar discusses literature from Grenada and Meridian.
