Teaching Artist Roster

The Museum School at the Mississippi Museum of Art is currently seeking skilled teaching artists to become a part of its new Teaching Artist Roster. The Museum’s 2012 Teaching Artist Roster will represent a pool of qualified individuals who will assist the Museum on a contract basis with various education-related projects during 2012. These projects include, but are not limited to: day-long workshops, the Museum School summer programs, after-school programs, and adult studio courses.

The Roster is an effort by Museum educators to ensure consistency in its programs and to make certain that teaching artists with whom it works are knowledgeable about the Museum, its collection, and its programs. To be eligible to work with the Museum on educational activities, you must be part of the Roster.
