Join us on the opening day of Black Out: Silhouettes Then and Now for a fun-for-the-whole-family morning of exploration, dance, music, demos, and crafts, and meet artists on view in Black Out and VISUAL VOICES: Contemporary Chickasaw Art, including fiber artist Tyra Shackleford, painter Joshua Hinson, painter Erin Shaw, and origami artist Kumi Yamashita. We’re also excited to have special guests John Spann and Lance Harris from the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and local silhouette artist Sarah Rick! This event is free and open to the public.
