Turry M. Flucker, art collections administrator at Tougaloo College, will share stories about the historic collections-driven relationship between Tougaloo College and the Museum, offering insight about some of the current works displayed in the exhibition A Tale of Two Collections on loan from Tougaloo College, and read a short excerpt from his forthcoming book, The Tougaloo Art Collections, scheduled for release spring, 2010.
This exhibition and its programming are components of the Art and Civil Rights Initiative, a partnership between the Museum and Tougaloo College supported by the Henry Luce Foundation.
