Brooklyn-based contemporary artist Leonardo Drew joins MMA’s Chief Curator and Artistic Director of CAPE, Ryan N. Dennis, in a conversation about Drew’s artwork and process, including a sneak peek at upcoming work in Drew’s studio.

Leonardo Drew is best known for his abstract sculptural works that are rooted in the physical, and often made from manipulation of natural materials through oxidation, burning, weathering, or decay. Leonardo Drew’s first outdoor installation City in the Grass, originally commissioned by Madison Square Gardens in New York, is currently on view in The Art Garden until February 21, 2021.
