Join us for a tail-wagging good time at Barktoberfest, a fall celebration for pets and their people in The Gardens, presented in partnership with Downtown Jackson Partners. This Oktoberfest-inspired event is designed for the whole family—kids and pups included—with seasonal activities, live music from the D’Lo Trio, food from I Be Dog Gone Food Truck and Fratelli’s Italian Ice, beer by Fertile Ground Co, and giveaways. All dogs must remain on a leash throughout the event. This event is weather dependent.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Highlights of Barktoberfest include: 

• Pet Costume Contest: Dress your furry friend for a chance to win prizes and make a forever memory at the fall photo booth.
• K-9 Contests & Activities: Participate in exciting competitions like the “Hot Dog Bobbing Contest” or the “Pup Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest.” 
• Live Music: Enjoy live music from The D’Lo Trio and beer from Fertile Ground Beer Co.
• Demonstrations: Watch demonstrations by police dogs and an agility course.
