“…Mississippi, like so much of the South, is as magical as it is misunderstood.” 

Inspired by the words of the guest curator of the 2021 Mississippi Invitational, Danielle Burns Wilson, this workshop will explore the ideas of Resilience, Reckoning, and Reflection. Through COVID conscious hands-on studio instruction, art making, and close looking conversations in the galleries, participating teachers will respond to the major themes in the 2021 Mississippi Invitational exhibition.
