Join us in person for a reading of Susan Verde and Peter H. Reynolds’ inspiring storybook, “I Am One: A Book of Activism.” In this book, no action is too small! Learn about the power of action and the importance of mindfulness. We will explore the galleries of Betye Saar: Call and Response and discuss how artists can create art to make a difference in the world. In fact, Betye Saar describes this show as “small but mighty.” Following the reading of the book, join us for art-making in The Art Garden.
