Inviting all local quilters: join Artist-in-Residence L’Merchie Frazier as she facilitates a quilting bee in response to Of Salt and Spirit. Intergenerational groups of women have long gathered in quilting groups to forge safe and supportive spaces of exchange. This quilting party will focus on the theme of self-love, as participants contribute a love letter strip to a larger community quilt that will be displayed at the Museum. Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
