5 PM Bar, Food Trucks, and Free Art Activities open
6 PM Free Conversation: “Place and Photography: Using Photovoice as Memory in Placekeeping” including Christina McField, Justin Hardiman, Ashleigh Coleman, and moderated by Brittny Miller
7 – 9 PM Music, Bar, Food Trucks, and Art Activities continue

Join us for a night of live music, food trucks, art making and more! Co-curated with The Mash-Up Art Exhibition, we’ll also showcase local visual artists’ artwork. Mississippi-born photographer, Maude Schuyler Clay, transports her viewers into a moment in time that tells a story about the past, belonging to Clay and her family and the larger community. In connection with this exhibition, join us for a conversation with Mississippi-based photographers about their own inspirations and connection to their communities, the people and places that inform their work, and how it serves as a means of Placekeeping. The evening will also feature music, art making, food trucks, and more.

Visual Artist Showcase: Imani Khayyam, Darius Nelson, Miyah Wilson, Sherrell Ford, Johnathan Buck, and Tyler Goliday
