Sculpt a City with Kristen Tordella-Williams and Phoenix Savage

Moms, dads, aunts, uncles and grandparents too, bring your favorite little person, age 10 and above to the Mississippi Museum of Art for an afternoon of City-Scaping. We will build architecture features using wire and handmade paper inspired by Leonardo Drew:  City in the Grass! Artists, Kristen Tordella-Williams, Art Professor at Millsaps College and Phoenix Savage, Art Professor at Tougaloo College, will lead a creative explosion of fun in this hands-on art making workshop for adults and children alike in The Art Garden. Participants will be able to take their sculptures home following the workshop.

Registration is for ages 10 and above includes all materials. In consideration of Covid-19, participants will receive a supply list if they prefer to bring their own wire tools. Register here.

Leonardo Drew:  City in the Grass is sponsored by BKD, LLC and Betsy and Kane Ditto.
