Spring CEU Workshop: Stitched Stories

Spring CEU Workshop: Stitched Stories

In this hands-on workshop, educators will honor the legacy of Roland L. Freeman’s life’s work of documenting, capturing, and archiving artists’ and community stories by exploring storytelling through textiles. Participants will have the opportunity to investigate and creatively respond to the collection of quilts and artifacts on view in the Of Salt and Spirit: Black Quilters of the American South exhibition.

This free, full day CEU workshop worth 0.6 CEUs is open to the first 25 K-12 public, private, or homeschool current educators to register. Refreshments, lunch, and CEU’s are provided.
